What a window repair costs
A visit starts at S$150 — a repairman is engaged by the day, not the hour, and that day is committed whether your job takes an hour or six. The per-part ranges below describe the work and sit on top of that. Several windows in one visit is how the cost per window comes down. Your actual price comes in a written quotation once we have seen the photos.

Who is allowed to work on an HDB window
The rule that catches people out is the line between maintenance and replacement. HDB states that flat owners or occupants are responsible for maintaining existing aluminium windows — that covers most repairs. But installing or replacing a new aluminium window must be carried out by a BCA-approved window contractor listed in HDB's directory, and BCA defines that as a firm registered under workhead RW01.

How does payment work?
Cash on completion, paid to the contractor who does the work. There is nothing to pay when you send photos, nothing to pay up front, and nothing to pay to us at any stage. The price is agreed in writing before any work starts, so what you hand over at the end is the number you already agreed.
Does HDB window repair require a BCA-approved contractor?
It depends on the work. HDB states that installation or replacement of new aluminium windows must be carried out by a BCA-approved window contractor listed in HDB's directory, and that flat owners or occupants are responsible for maintaining existing windows. Where regulated work is involved, we assign it to a partner holding the required approval and listing.
What photos do you need for a window repair quotation?
Three things: one photo of the whole window from inside, one close-up of the faulty part or the damage, and — if the problem is about movement, sticking or noise — a short video of you operating the window. Photos taken with the window both open and closed help a great deal.
How much does window repair cost in Singapore?
A visit starts at S$150 — that is what engaging a repairman costs for the day, and the day is committed whether the job takes an hour or six. The work itself is on top: roughly S$80 to S$180 per window for handles, locks, hinges and stays, S$100 to S$300 a pane for glass, from S$50 a panel for rollers. Several windows in one visit is how the cost per window comes down. A whole window replacement is a separate, regulated category at roughly S$400 to S$900.
Is a remote assessment from photos a diagnosis?
No. A photo assessment narrows down the likely fault category and gets your case to the right contractor. It is not a final technical diagnosis. The assigned contractor confirms the actual fault, and for leakage and intermittent faults an on-site inspection is normally required before any repair price is given.
